Socorro is calling! Join us October 17–18 for the Gordy Hicks Hare Scrambles and settle into our new, wide-open staging area with plenty of room for motorhomes, campers, and your race-weekend crew! Saturday brings free youth training, youth and women beginner racing, a course pre-ride, and the Gordy Hicks Hillclimb Challenge, followed by the NM Rattlers MC trophy presentation honoring our Rattlesnake 100 champions, pit decorating, trick-or-treating—bring candy!—and a kids’ costume contest. Sunday, gear up for an action-packed desert race and let your Halloween creativity shine: racers and pit crews can compete in the adult costume contest for cash and prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! Bring your bike, your best costume, and the whole family for a weekend of racing and Halloween fun!

2026 NMRC SCHEDULE
The New Mexico Race Collective mourns the loss of a beloved member of our racing community, Lou Vanlandingham.
Losing a rider is something that stays with all of us. We ride as individuals, but we are a family out here. We are linked by dirt, sweat, grit, and the miles we share together.
Desert racing is built on courage, commitment, and a deep connection to the land, and Lou embodied all of those qualities with every throttle twist and every mile ridden.
We extend our deepest love and support to his family and friends. His spirit, generosity, and passion for racing will live on in the stories we tell, the lines we follow, and the traditions we carry forward. We will honor and remember the legacy he leaves behind.
