Let's Go Racing!!
The NMRC 2026 series is heading into the fall with two upcoming desert races you won't want to miss. First up is the NM Rattlers MC Rattlesnake 100 Sept 12 & 13 in Espanola, NM. We are bringing our racers north to experience the classic desert challenge of the Alcade OHV area. The course will be the same as 2025, but run backwards to offer a whole different perspective to our racers! Expect a fast and fun course at around 17 miles, and plenty of hero dirt!
Then, rest up for the 3rd Annual Gordy Hicks Hare Scrambles on Oct 17 & 18 at the Gordy Hicks/Johnson Hill OHV area. Considered by many to be the most technical, Socorro offers tight singletrack and plenty of arroyos to race fast and shake off the rocks! The course will be around 22 miles.
NMRC is the place to race with a full weekend of fun dirtbike events and racing. All of our races are weekend adventures with Saturdays offering a pre-ride of the course open to any dirtbike rider - you don't need to enter the race or have an AMA membership to ride your dirtbike on our amazing race courses! We have got the kiddos dialed in too with our Youth racing program which includes a training/pre-ride of their race course with one of our NMRC pros, trophies, swag and the focus on FUN. We've got the Women Beginners covered too, with 2 classes, Women Beginner Mini (under 12) and Women Beginner Open. The Women Beginner race on our Youth courses and the entry fee for all Youth races is only $20. Saturday wraps up with Yard Games for dirtbikes that are sponsored by the promoting club, and a trophy presentation of the previous NMRC that features swag, fun and a free raffle!
From our youngest 50 cc racers to the Pros, both weekends are about much more than championship points - they are about challenging courses, great competition, camping and fun with friends and families, and supporting the clubs and volunteers who keep our sport thriving.

2026 NMRC SCHEDULE
The New Mexico Race Collective mourns the loss of a beloved member of our racing community, Lou Vanlandingham.
Losing a rider is something that stays with all of us. We ride as individuals, but we are a family out here. We are linked by dirt, sweat, grit, and the miles we share together.
Desert racing is built on courage, commitment, and a deep connection to the land, and Lou embodied all of those qualities with every throttle twist and every mile ridden.
We extend our deepest love and support to his family and friends. His spirit, generosity, and passion for racing will live on in the stories we tell, the lines we follow, and the traditions we carry forward. We will honor and remember the legacy he leaves behind.
